FORMAT OF THE PTE EXAM

PTE testing includes major communication skills-writing, speaking, reading, and listening. PTE training institute strives to help candidate aces at all of them.

The test is 3 hours long and is divided into 3 segments, with specific time allotted for each part



1.Speaking and writing -77 to 93 minutes.

This section includes the following parts-

  • Summarize written text
  • Essay 

2.Reading-32 to 40 minutes

This section evaluates the reading ability of a candidate. This segment includes the following question pattern

  • Reading: Fill in the blanks
  • Re-order paragraphs
  • Multiple-choice, choose a single answer
  • Reading & Writing: Fill in the blanks

3.Listening-45 to 57 minutes

This part consists of the following

This section tests the candidate’s ability to understand spoken English.
